Styles By Erica came about in 2018.. I was a full time registered nurse at the time mama to 5 at 24 years old ( 3 step-is kids, although we aren't married.. sound confusing? welcome to my life LOL). I decided to start selling clothes in my "free time" (yeah right) clothes were sold out of my basement of my home.I have always enjoyed shopping/fashion and I feel I have good eye when it comes to picking out clothes/styling. And lets be real I am originally rom Southern California- YEP born and raised- shopping was everywhere. I m moved to South Dakota in 2013 to attend nursing school.. long story short THERE WAS NO SHOPPING!!!!

I quickly learned the demand for clothes in South Dakota was in high demand, While I was working my nurse shifts SHOPPERS  would show up to MY BASEMENT to shop.... I mean crazy right?!!? 

In October of 2019 I decided to take the leap, quit my full time RN job and lease out a store front in Yankton. We out grew that building in 3 short months, thats when I decided to buy a 4500 square foot building right in downtown Yankton. My Dad and I did some remodel work during the COVID-19 shut down, we opened Styles By Erica's new location May 15th 2020. 

I absolutely love what I do... I am so thankful for all the relationships and community I have built.
